Hey! My name is Julia Vuillermet (she/they), and I'm a digital illustrator, game artist, environment artist, and much more! I'm currently based in Philadelphia and I graduated from the University of the Arts in 2023 with a BFA in Game Art and Design!
I've been an artist my entire life, spending a majority of my time creating digital art whenever I can. I started posting my work online as early as 2013; ever since, I've slowly accumulated a small following under my various alias' and have made connections with fellow artists across many different social platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, DeviantART, and Discord. As of today, I post my work under the name Jackal Cackle, of which I hope to turn into a small business to sell works of mine through!
As a queer artist, I strive to bring my unique voice and perspective to the forefront of the video game industry, challenging the status quo and pushing for greater inclusivity and representation. While everything I make might not have some deeper meaning behind it, my main goal at the end of the day is to bring those who experience my work even just a tiny bit of joy. I'm driven to bring my ideas, stories, and characters to life through video games so other game artists may be inspired to follow in my footsteps to create things that bring them joy as well.
Art will always be a part of who I am, no matter what form it may take, and I can't wait to see where it will take me.
